Home
This is my
House where I
Sit and watch the
Magnetic atoms
Play, where I
Hang everything I
Love upon the
Wall, my portal to the
Land of solitary
Fantasy that
Merges with sleep.
That's home: memory,
Private cuddled cleansing and
Warm shadows where
Sleep incubates
Innocence.

Such Is
Such is the
Life of an older
Man I forgot how
Earnestly they
Viewed the passing things of their
Days and how they
Cling to plans and hopes
And how they want to seem to
Dismiss the things they love and
How casual they appear but
How much each detail matters.
Life is so
Intense for those with years those
Immersed in their time.

Oink
I'm
A
Love
Pig, a
PigoLove
Snuffling the
Scent of
Love.
And it
Takes
Time to
Figure
Out that
We
Are
Strangers.

Me and Love
Even as I
Haul the
Baggage of my
Life I am
Soaked in love,
Saturated in
Love and all the
Failure and aborted
Success floats with
Me in love's scintillescent
Jelly. The final
Burial place of stultified
Endings, falls back with me,
Falls helplessly
Back into the
Folds of love. Love
Waits, arms
Folded, protective, I
Rely on love and my
Alliance with love
Thrills me, fuels
Me, tickles my ribs.

The Circus Campaign
Chance bedevils.
My hungry spirit
Mis-digests the
Porridge. Well,
Frothy
Chance bedevils,
Sloshing around. I
Sink. I
Grab for the
Rail. I
Bank against the
Walls. I am
Unblessed, unblessed as
Chance is the
Embodiment of
Blessing

Before The Portrait
I
Tried
Toseeher. I
See her though
I can't
Quite
Decode
A
Message
In her face and frame. I
Onlystealglances
Just
One
Good
Look
I say
One
Deep
Draught
Ofvision.
But I
Don't
Dare.

On Granting Final Wishes
You never know
What it's like to
Have a last wish
Granted, when the
Great black "you never
Know" and the "wait and
See" is lurking behind them.
Are they told? When they
Return something big is
Going to happen, something
Soft and dark is
Stalking, behind the
Playroom and the
Coloured dolls of
Clowns.

Note from a Fading Mother
When you tell the
Truth does it
Endanger your love that
Grows in a cushion of
Darkness? The truth is
Bright and reliable, hard
Unforgiving, cutting like a
Knife. Oh my love go
On with your living but
Don't diminish me.
Love shivers in the
Dark of your body
Awaiting the soothing
Lullaby of let's pretend,
And the truth impedes,
Chases away. My job is
Dying, my love, yours is
Tolerating.

How Can I Squeeze Closer?
The tank of my
Life is sealed and if it were
Not for love it would never
Leak; but love
Enters the smallest
Pore. How
Can I squeeze closer to the
World?
The world behaves with
Reserve (which prevents
Dreams from coming true). The
World tosses her
Pretty head and slips
Away.
"No one," says the
World, "gets too
Far away or too
Close."

Poof
I search through the
Cabinet of my
Heart squeezing samples,
Feeling for the
Sweet spot. My
Heart is a huge open
Cabinet, a
Superstorewarehouse with
Fork lifts high in the
Misty clouds close to the
Ceiling. I
See the face
Riding on the upper shelf in the
Back of my heart and I
Think of the stars in the
Sky, cabinets within
Superstorewarehouses in
Cabinets and when I
Die it will all go
Poof!

Meditation Hour
Me
No more than a
Suppressed laugh. My prayer
Just
Openmouthed breath.
And God
Is the
Librarian of life. We breathe
Together, mouths
Agape
Sucking on
God to
Borrow
Souls.
